01 — THE CONCEPT
KLØR is a high-fidelity speaker design project exploring how minimal engineering can reveal perceptual truth. Rejecting the conventions of multi-driver systems and complex digital processing, KĪØR embraces a single full-range driver philosophy, allowing sound to emerge as a unified, coherent field. The project positions audio design as a form of artistic inquiry—a method for examining how simplicity, precision, and constraint shape human perception.
Coherence
Single driver design eliminates phase issues and delivers seamless sound from deep bass to crystalline highs. The music arrives as one unified, natural voice.
Authenticity
No crossover means no signal degradation. What you hear is pure, unfiltered music, exactly as the artist intended.
Craftsmanship
Hand-built cabinets, precision-tuned ports, and meticulous attention to every detail. Each speaker is a work of functional art.
02 — THE RESEARCH
Acoustic Minimalism
KĪØR’s research focuses on how psychoacoustics, phase coherence, and spatial clarity transform listening. Removing crossovers eliminates phase distortion, letting the ear receive a continuous sonic image from bass to highs.
Acoustic minimalism
Coherent sound from a single point source
Material truth
Cabinet geometry and resonance as perceptual variables
Embodied listening
How the ear interprets space and detail under pure conditions
03 — THE PROCESS
1. Acoustic modeling of internal volume and port resonance
2. Iterative prototypes built and tuned by hand
3. Precision fabrication with resonance-controlled materials
4. Listening-based evaluation across ambient, experimental, and high-resolution audio

Immersive Audio Environment
Silent Pollution is designed as an immersive listening environment where audiences encounter underwater acoustic ecosystems with scientific clarity and emotional depth. The installation uses multichannel spatial audio to guide visitors through four distinct segments: pristine soundscape, layered pollution, seasonal transitions, and deep immersion.
Scientific visuals—spectrograms, frequency bands, and ecological datasets—appear as subtle ambient projections, offering context without distracting from the sonic experience. Duration: 30-45 minutes per session.
